i'm a noob, this is my build
This is a build I've just started testing out in TA with my first PvP character, and I wondered what you guys thought of it/how I could maximize it's potential.
It's basically a N/Me SS Warrior/Ranger/Assasin shutdown build, unnamed as of yet.
Curses 12+1
Soul Reaping 3
Domination Magic 9
Inspiration Magic 9
I open up by targeting the leading tank and hitting them with Reckless Haste, then cast Spiteful Spirit. To do some active health draining I cast Conjure Nightmare, and with my last bit of energy before I need to recharge I cast Power Burn. My other four slots are filled with Empathy, Shame, Rez Sig, and alternating Evasion and Hex Breaker.

Well, the terminology you use makes it fairly obvious you're new to the game, and as such it's not that bad of a build. In PvE RH+SS is a nice combo, since it's aoe (area of effect) and long lasting. Do not bring conjure nightmare, it's 25 energy (way too much) its lower-cost counterpart "conjure phantasm" is infinitely better. You can use Phantasm to cover SS, so when the opponent removes it SS will still be there, allowing you to reapply phantasm, leaving SS covered yet again (SS doesn't cause a purple color on the hexed foes hp bar, only an arrow. phantasm makes their whole bar purple, so you can see when it gets removed.
also, you have 9 illusion, not inspiration... are you using runes? Instead of domination I'd probably go inspiration and bring spirit of failure and either inspired hex or drain enchantment, depending on the rest of your team. Drop empathy and shame for that and faintheartedness, a very nice anti-war skill. I'll assume by power burn you mean energy burn, which you should drop for something useful and "evasion" you mean distortion, which is a very nice skill indeed. Using this concept I'd likely go with these skills:
SS
conjure phantasm
faintheartedness
spirit of failure
soothing images / imagined burden / price of failure
drain enchantment
res sig
distortion
I don't usually run a necro in TA, but that should provide adequate melee-hate without being to energy-heavy. It's important to be able to consistantly dish out hate, you can't just burn all your energy at once then stop to recharge. Thats why spirit of failure and drain enchant are so nice.
